For about 5 years, I have been a volunteer ministry leader for Gayton Care Ministries at Gayton Baptist Church in suburban Henrico, Virginia. We are a ministry to neighbors in need which includes a food pantry.
My goals are to share the stories (anonymously) of some who come to our food pantry in the hopes of busting stereotypes and increasing compassion and to share information and tips with those who find themselves in need of assistance OR who wish to volunteer or donate.
I welcome your questions and your own stories from either side of the food pantry.
